Lunar Disko Records begins 2012 with a milestone 10th release from
local hero Automatic Tasty, aka Jonny Dillon. The ‘Strange Terrain
EP’ is the eagerly anticipated follow up to his debut 12″ ‘In It For
The Money’ on LDR.

The amusing ‘Keep Your Receipt’ kicks off the EP, where the
idiosyncratic Mr. Tasty makes a cameo vocal appearance on why you
should have…eh…kept your receipt! ‘Beannach Mhor’ is next up, and
is a fine example of how the Auto’ Tasty sound is evolving ever more.
The up-tempo ‘Over The Hill’ completes the A-side, a rumbling 101
bassline beneath catchy keys continue the Automatic Tasty explorations
of the strange terrain…

The Lunar favourite ‘Tropic Exchange’ begins the flip side with more
vintage sounds crafted with dexterity to create that unparalleled
Automatic Tasty sound. Completing the EP is ‘Small Hours’, a rolling
808 jam with twinkling imaginative melodies that makes for a perfect
ending to another timeless EP…
