About the release:

After the great success with Quietpoints PAM Ltd. Series 1 – 3 (playlisted by Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, Ellen Allien, Modeselektor and others more….) Pastamusik moves on with another Deep-Techno-Monster.
Daniel Bortz runs Augsburg best clubnights alienates the metropolitan rivals with cheeky deep and eclectic DJ Sets. His roots are where they should really belong to. Somewhere between Chicago, Detroit, Berlin and such is clearly reflected in his productions.
The Suedwind EP brings along everything what a club hit should be made of. Minimal grooves with the right balanced feeling, in the background some minor percussions to work your brain to sludge. A dark sound pattern of swelling pads and magnetic chords make the Suedwind EP to a hypnotic monster that will leave the dancefloor enthusiastic. By now, prior to the release minds like Kalabrese…..and Efdemin are already real fans.

Southwind
The Southwind is a hot wind from south-by-southeast direction, coming from the Sahara and waves to the mediterranean sea.
It’s created by the temperature difference between cool low pressure areas in northern africa and the hot saharas hot air. The bigger the temperature variance, the stronger it becomes. Due to it’s formation in the dessert, it carries along large quantities of dust and sand and colours the air in a yellowish-grey. The range of sight can decrease to less then one kilometer and the wind can transform to a real sandstorm. While over the african landscape, the southwind is rather dry, it adds humidity over the mediterranean sea and possibly turns into rain over the medi-european countries.
In Italy it’s names Scirocco, in France it’s called Marin and in Croatia and Montenegro it’s called Jugo.
