No Suit Records – A-Sim – Unpeaceful Mind EP – NoSR010

NoSR10_Front
NoSR10_ANoSR10_B

A-Sim, born Simon Hamelin, is a fresh electronic music producer from France. His productions wind up somewhere between UK bass, electro and techno with a focus on the rivalry between the dark and sweet side of all textures coming from electronic instruments. He released stuffs on R&S, Eddy Larkin and Rawax.
Ghost of Skye glides between lost innocence and joyful tears. It shines like a blurring star, like the glowing glass of your last drink on a late night.
My Opinion (even if you don’t care) is the rotating, meditative call to prayer pumped on detroit electro steroids. Take my hand and dive into oblivion.
Unpeaceful Mind re ects our apocalyptic erra. The neverstopping dark and anxious pressure of society. The need of relief. Of escape. Of freedom.
All tracks mastered by Pole at Scape Mastering in Berlin.

We_r house – Toman – Broodrooster EP – WRH 04

WRH04

Dutch producer, Toman makes his debut on fresh-faced Berlin label we_r_house this
November with four minimal house cuts.
Watergate resident and the creative mind behind the Beste Modus label, Cinthie decided to
launch we_r_house with Berlin friends’ and kicked off the label with material from herself and The
Willers Brothers late last year and most recently a third release from Revivis. The man behind
we_r_house04 and a new partner of the label, Toman shares a parallel vision focussing on
minimalistic but complex house music. He’s worked with the likes of Cyclic Records, Inermu and
most recently UK label Pathway Traxx before linking up with we_r_house.
‘Broodrooster’ kicks off the EP, offering up a stripped-back, technical micro-house feel balancing
exuberant bass stabs with tender flickers of melody. ‘Fever’ follows, an absorbing, lo-fi cut
layered with energetic percussion and bouncy undulating elements.
Next, ‘Murmur displays true minimalism, featuring a simple, deep, rolling bass-line whilst
flickering drum patterns and tinges of background chimes tucked into the depths of the record.
‘Slapback’ then provides wiggly jabs throughout alongside sleek flutters and an infectious
subdued vocal sample to finish the pack.

XTIME001_AXTIME001_B
XTIME001_1XTIME001_2

XCPT starts a new catalogue series called Time Horizon, taking shape involving artists close to the label’s core. The aim of the series is to share label’s different musical outputs showcasing different influences from different minds coexisting in an harmonious habitat.
Body music for mind business.

First chapter involves on the A side first ever solo track from label’s head Delikwe with a broken beats storm flavored by esoteric atmospheres, followed by night-scientist Grienkho and his analog infernal trip Ritual Dance; closing the circle it’s Chris Mitchell with a beatless mind-blowing soundscape that will touch your intimate chords.
B side brings back to life UK-duo Neurø’s Paradigm track, Trancy-electro originally released in 1994 remastered for this release taking straight the recordings from the original cassette.
Last but not least Big Hands delivers an emotional progression of forward-thinking uptempo and break avantgarde blended with idm influences – for real steppers only.
