Diamonds and Pearls Music

Established in 2006 in Leipzig by a small circle of friends, who are closely connected to the local homo elektrik collective. The label focuses on releases by local artists and friends. Past releases have featured Boys’R'Us, Kassem Mosse (who also releases on Workshop) and Mix Mup (who also releases on Erkrankung durch Muzique & Angelika Köhlermann). Mikrodisko is devoted to an old-school sound and approach to making techno, while avoiding nostalgia and direct references to the particular aesthetic of techno’s past and present capitals.
