Horizontal Music, founded in 2005 by Alejandra Iglesias (Dinky) in Berlin Germany.
Dinky founded her own imprint in order to keep her music coming out on time and fresh instead of waiting the usual 2-5 years that take to put records out when signed by other label.
The first single Horizontal EP by Dinky was higly aclaimed by the media ,and recieved great reviews by magazines like Debug, Groove, Mixer (UK) ect . Horizontal 001 was also in many dj charts and liscenced by Loco Dice , Tobi Neumann and several international compilations. It was also greatly supported by Djs like Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos …..
“Home on a Sunday” the second Horizontal release by Dinky as well, has also received great reviews and has been licensed by Minus Records (Magdas mix cd) Cocoon records (T.Neumanns mix cd) and recently M.A.N.D.Y mix CD. Home on a Sunday has been already played in BBC radio show in june 2006 and supported by djs like Damian Lazarus, Loco Dice, Karotte, Craig Richards ect. Home on a sunday was released at the end of June 2006.
“No Sleep” (Horizontal 003) is the project by Chilean Pop Star Jorge Gonzalez and Dinky. The two met at the beginning of the nineties in Chile and both lived in NY at that time. Where they recorded their first Studio project in 1995. Ten years later In 2005 they colaborated in this project and the result was a mixture of Gonzales humoristic pop compositions plus Dinky dancefloor killer productions. The team is planning a live act and album together for 2007. Jorge Gonzalez lives in Mexico and has also colaborated with Senior Coconut , Sieg Über Die Sonne , Chica and The Folder and Ricardo Villalobos. No Sleep came out August of 2006.
Horizontal 004 is the project of Jambi, a talented upcoming Berlin based producer originaly from Israel.
